About Pristine

A school that knows every child by name.

Since 2007, Pristine Public School has kept classes small, standards high and character at the centre of everything we do.

Our story

How Pristine began — and what hasn't changed.

Pristine Public School was founded in 2007 by a group of visionaries under the Pristine Educational Trust, opening as a co-educational CBSE school in Indiranagar. What began there has grown into a community of close to 1200+ students, from Nursery to Class X, guided by 100+ qualified teachers.

We believe that true education extends beyond academic achievement. It is about nurturing curiosity, developing character, building confidence and equipping every child with the skills and values needed to excel in life.

We have proven the results — over the last three years, more than 70% of our Class X students have passed their board exams with flying colours.

We were also among the first schools to shift to online classes during the COVID-19 pandemic, and were recognised as the Best CBSE School in Bangalore by the Global Triumph Foundation.

Vision & mission

What we're aiming at.

In practice that means inclusive teaching, a CBSE curriculum aligned with NEP 2020, and a deliberate focus on the whole child — academic, social and personal.

Vision

To identify and develop holistic education by providing positive challenges, a better learning environment & visionary mentors.

Create a lifelong learning community of children & parents who will respond to the future, preserve the past and enjoy the present.

Mission

To prepare each student for academic, social, and personal success by creating a community of empowered and diverse learners striving to be global-minded citizens in an atmosphere of mutual respect, understanding, and trust.

Objectives

The principal aims and objectives under which the school functions are as follows:

  • To impart inclusive education.
  • To strive for the holistic development of all children.
  • To instill moral and spiritual principles that contribute to the development of a new social structure based on humanity, dignity, equality of opportunity, and social, political, and economic justice.
Core values

The four qualities behind every lesson.

Curiosity, character, confidence and growth aren't a poster in the corridor — they're how we plan, teach and talk to children.
01

Curiosity

We protect the instinct to ask why. Our Lessons begin by kindling the child's curiosity without giving room for rote learning.

02

Character

Honesty, kindness and responsibility are held to the same standard as academic work. Character is discussed openly and practised daily.

03

Confidence

Manageable classes mean every child is known, heard and stretched. Students learn to speak, perform and lead without fear of getting it wrong.

04

Growth

Progress is measured against a child's own path. Detailed reporting and regular conversations keep families close to how their child is developing.

Leadership

A message from our Principal.

Masulin Arul G, Principal of Pristine Public School

Dear Parents,

“Every Child is Special and Unique, All that we need to do is Identify and Facilitate.”

As we continue on our educational journey, we want to emphasize the importance of creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Our school is committed to providing a well-rounded education that fosters academic excellence, creativity, and social responsibility.

We encourage our students to be curious, ask questions, and explore their passions. Our dedicated teachers and staff are here to guide and support our children every step of the way.

We, the Pristine teachers, do not only instruct or teach in the traditional sense. We facilitate and direct the learning of each child in the environment. Children in the Pristine environment are encouraged to experience, observe, and make meaning as they try to understand their world — hence we address all our teachers at Pristine as Mentors.

To our parents and guardians, we thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. Your involvement is crucial to your child's success, and we welcome your participation in school events and activities.

Let's work together in nurturing young minds.

In Service of Nurturing Minds,
Masulin Arul G — Principal

Rules & regulations

What we ask of every student and family.

From the school diary — the rules every student and parent agrees to as part of joining Pristine.

Diary & communication

  • Students must bring their diary to school every day — it is the primary channel of communication between teachers and parents. Check the diary and the WhatsApp class group daily.
  • Parents and students should read the diary carefully and familiarise themselves with the school's rules and regulations.
  • For fast, effective communication, register your phone number with the school's UOLO software.

Uniform & appearance

  • Students must be well-groomed at all times and wear the prescribed uniform on all working days — including when visiting school during holidays or vacations.
  • Girls with long hair should keep it neatly braided with a black ribbon or hairband; short hair must be trimmed regularly.
  • Jewellery is not permitted, and valuable items should not be brought to school.

Attendance & leave

  • All students must attend school regularly and punctually, online or offline.
  • Attendance on the reopening day after each vacation and the last day of each term is compulsory.
  • A minimum of 85% attendance per term is required; students with attendance below 60% will have to repeat the class.
  • Leave applications must be submitted to the class mentor in advance. For an absence of more than two days, a written or emailed leave application is required.
  • Whenever a student returns after any absence, however brief, parents must record the reason in the diary.
  • Tests and examinations are not rescheduled, even where the absence is due to illness.
  • A student with a contagious illness should not attend school, and must bring a medical fitness certificate on return.

Conduct on campus

  • Silence must be maintained in corridors, on the stairs, in classrooms and in the library.
  • Students are answerable to the school for their conduct and behaviour, both on and off campus.
  • Students may not buy food from vendors outside the school premises.
  • Litter must be thrown only in the bins provided; students are expected to help keep the campus clean.

Transport & contact details

  • School transport is offered within a 5 km radius, as far as possible.
  • Any change of address, residence or contact number must be reported to the office in writing — with the Principal's approval where relevant — so routes and records can be updated.

Books & belongings

  • Students are responsible for their own books and belongings, and should bring books as per the timetable.
  • Library books must be handled with care and returned by the scheduled date.

School policies

  • Self-discipline is important.
  • The school day begins at 8:30 am — students are expected to reach school before the bell rings.
  • Pupils should maintain hygiene and cleanliness on campus and on the bus.
  • Pupils should behave politely.
  • The medium of instruction and communication on campus is English.
  • No pupil may miss a teaching, games or activity period without prior permission — the Academic Head and Coordinators are the points of contact for all communication.

Note to parents

  • Ensure your child's discipline and punctuality.
  • Adhere to school rules regarding leave, uniform and fees.
  • Check your child's diary daily.
  • Admission from Grade I onwards is based on an entrance test.
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) applications should be submitted before 25 February.
